Nothing says "City" like a little Barbershop Harmony!
I am a member of SPEBQSA, or the Society for Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (whew!).
I think it'd be an old-timey freakout if we could get a quartet together and sing a bunch of tunes for unsuspecting burners. A traveling show, if you will.
I sing lead (I'm 34), and unfortunately don't know any other parts. My repertoire is limited, but I'm a quick learner.
Here are the songs I know:
Aint Misbehavin
All I Have To Do Is Dream
Breaking Up Is Hard To Do
Down By The Riverside
Georgia
Goodnight Sweetheart
Hello MaryLou
I Love a Piano
I Will Fly Away
My Girl
Old Man River
Paper Moon
Rose Colored Glasses
Shenandoah
Under the Boardwalk
The Way You Look Tonight
Walkin My Baby Back Home
Of course, we could just do tags! I'm easy.
IF YOU'RE A BASS, BARITONE OR TENOR AND KNOW SOME TUNES, LET'S DO THIS! You know it'd be big time awesome.
