For some reason, the names of the streets are held as a closely guarded secret by management. I think it's part of the aura and mystique in the building of excitement toward the event.
In the last few years, the theme for the next year has been announced just as the current years event was ending. My guess for this is that it keeps the excitement and momentum going and allows participants to starts planning, building and stocking for the next year. Prior to this change, the theme was announced just before the tickets went on sale.

According to my completely non-obsessive Burning Man Countdown timer, there is about 85 days, 8 hours and 48minutes and 12 seconds (approximately) until I leave for the burn... Not that I'm counting down the minutes or anything![]()
Here's hoping that time passes fast!!
