You mean like that stuff that's $300 a yard or some such? That stuff is gorgeous - my friend has a teeny little bag (like, cigarette box sized).

The stuff I'm looking at is regular fur, just over el-wire. Lots of hand work involved and some attention to detail. However, it wouldn't be sold by the yard, because well, it doesn't work that way.

As to what Etsy is, it's a site for artists and craftsmen to sell their goods. I understand that they used to do that on the auction site that must not be named, but that when fees were raised to unreasonable levels, this is where the largest chunk jumped to. I've found all sorts of amazing stuff.
