Ultra Fest was alot of fun....however, the amount of trash thrown with apparent reckless abandon and no thought truly disgusted me.

dumb motherfucking litter-ravers....this was not a LNT event, and i felt like yelling at the stupid fucks, in english, and in spanish, but it would not have done any good....Miami has no sense of shame, whatsoever.

the music was phenomenal, The weather was Gorgeous, i got to see people i havent seen in a while, and i worked/partied my ass off. all in all, a damn good time.

of course, the corporate logos, the atm machines next to the portapotties (how appropos) and the five dollar bottles of water along with the complete disrespect for the space it was held in did leave a bad taste in my mouth...it is what it is...

one more observation.

We ripped them a new booty hole in the body of Electronica and Showmanship.

it seemed like the rest of the stages, and crowds were the samo samo pacifier sucking, whistle blowing, furry hatted cliched raver bunnies that we all have come to love and loathe, but the dome, and in particular Bassnectar and Rabbit in the MOON, gave them a taste of "Burningmanesque" (i just cringed myself, i'm sorry, dear readers) kind of fun and spectacle, and you could tell, by looking at the crowds they were IN THE MOMENT. they werent looking around to see who is looking at them or who is cute and might go home with them, or what someone might be doing to someone in the corner, but they were DANCING WITH FURY AND GRACE, totally absorbed and truly shaking it, not faking it...

the smiles were genuine, the bliss sincere.

its those moments that keep me going.
