The biggest problem with Pride parades and festivals all over, is how the commercialism has taken over. Parades with floats advertising booze and politicians. It costs $20 bucks to go to the LA Pride festival now, plus expensive booze ($8 for a beer!), and they want you to shop because that's all that there is now there. No art, No expression, No community.
We wanted to get to the basic's, just be there, walk and show our Fab Presence.
