Well, I got to admit I recognized it from reading Robert E. Howard's biography ("Dark Valley Destiny" I believe it was called.) Somehow I have missed reading his stories-- some day I should rectify that deficiency. (I think that during my prime fantasy reading time they were out of print.)
The biography was really interesting-- apparently he wrote a lot of books during his short life. Also, he and H.P. Lovecraft had quite a debate about fascism in their correspondence-- Lovecraft for and Howard against. It still seems rather weird to me that the creator of Conan committed suicide because he couldn't face life without his mother-- then again, it has been speculated that Conan was more based on his father then REH.
I'm still curious about who that band in the video was.
