Is there any manner of temporary-autonomous-zone type gatherings planned or currently happening in Australia?

I reckon we can come up with a dry, flat, sandy place somewhere around here. Now all we need is a couple thousand mad people, some mull & an Esky.

I've never been to the Burn but am thinking of going next year...
as for this year I'm going to Confest...

as for me I think I'll focus my energies on Confest...
I think it has a lot of potential to be like the Burn some day...

which is half way between Deniliquin and Echuca in NSW...
