I carry a measuring tape, and a copy of laws, regarding shotguns with my Sawed Off. Am legal within 1/4 of an inch in both barrel length and overall. My dad "fixed" this shotgun originally, and made sure to keep it legal.

Wouldnt be my first choice, should I choose to go on a shooting rampage, good for home defense, and thats about it. But fun to use, after pumping AK rounds into Elmo, to finish him off.

The cannon worked great for the 4th.
Everyone for five miles has dialed their alarms down, but we still managed to set off the one across the street with the big one a few times.
We set off five in fast sequence once too.
The neighborhood seems to enjoy it too.

I still blink when the 60 mm goes off.

The exciting part was when a fuse didn't set off the charge and we had to drill it out.

It was bored from a solid piece of round stock, 260 pounds finished.
We are planning on hot bronzing it.

The smaller ones are all tool steel and strong enough for smokeless powder.
They have all been proof tested.

Some have some nice milling done.

I do have some friends with a military 57mm and some with tanks they use for historical events.
The guy with the 57mm hasn't licensed it for a smokeless breech.
He'll probably set it up for black powder.

It's no assault rifle, but still, not too dull.

Just saw the movie Wanted - great flick! They do a trick where they have the bullet curve ball around a pillar to hit their targer. I am going to find out if that is reality or Wollyhood.

I saw it too.. I think its BS.. you would have to be faster than the dude that shoots aspirin. It looks like they moved the gun in order "throw" the round while it was moving in the barrel. I tried at the range this morning and just pissed ppl off by hittin their targets.

I find when shooting the big guns it best to keep MOST of your weight on the front/leading foot. That way you won't fall on yer ass and drop the gun.

And yes. An aggressive stance is recommended no matter what you shoot. These folks in the video have no understanding of the caliber they are shooting or they would not have these circus acts.

*sigh* I wish I had been to the playa when the drive by shooting range was happening. I have seen a few videos with stuffed animals. I think a balloons are fun to shoot. Especially at long range.

I really like when i get to go on Gun Runs at work... nothing say fun like firing a .50CAL XM218 out the window of a CH-53 Echo.... one of the many things i will miss about being in the military....

Our forefathers put the right to keep and bare arms in the constitution to keep the citizenry from being defenseless against its government. All rifles were assault rifles. They didn't put it in there to make sure you could hunt. That has to be the silliest arguement I have ever heard. You don't want to have a gun? Fine, be defensless. man i need to move to a place like that.... to many people are gun paranoid these days.... I hate the stupid people who try and say gun laws are not tight enough because criminals and psycho shooters can still get guns.... like all them dam gang bangers just walk into gun stores and buy guns no questions asked.... Just got the fusion package in for my SKS. I really dig the picatinny rails on the bottom AND sides. Got a bright light on one side and put a laser on the other, my harris bipod it mounted below. I put my old holosight on top and will be trying it out this afternoon.

I just love tapco.

I haven't decided on whether to change out the AKs.. I kinda dig the wood furniture. My Ar-10 is staying the way I got it since Armalite did a bang up job right from the get go.

Sounds like all you need is a pistol grip and night vision! Do you use the EoTech sight? Have you tried the (not holosight) Leupold Prismatic? You have a reticle without the need for a battery, but turn on the battery and you get an illuminated reticle. I like it better than their CQT when I don't need the 1-3 power.

I love ArmaLite. They don't get enough credit with the AR. I got the AR10 in olive drab. I also picked up their AR180B. They are very picky about their mags, tho. Never buy more than a couple of mags at a time before testing their lips at the range.
