Hey guys! This year will be my first burn and I couldn't be more excited. I am looking for anyone who is driving from the MD/VA/DC area to travel caravan style with. I think I'll be making the trip alone and would love to meet a few friends & make the long drive a little more exciting :)

I just came back from driving Silver Spring to Monterey, CA. Not brutal at all. A total joy. Every visit to the gas pumps hurt, but the trip is enjoyable.

I'm a first-timer from Maryland too. You're driving the whole way by yourself? I have my ticket to Burning Man, and now I'm trying to figure out how to get there. If you have any extra space, I'll throw in gas money for you.

My other plan is to greyhound out there. :-)

I'm from MoCo too. The past couple years I have been bouncing from Olney to Gaithersburg to Aspen Hill & back to Olney. I have yet to get my ticket :oops: Just don't want to make the drive alone. I think I'm moving to FL in the next couple months, but I will (hopefully) be flying back to MD to make the drive if anyone is interested. I have a Ford Ranger. Not a big truck, but it's tow is pretty swell & the bed always helps. I have the extended cab, so 2 people can fit in the back seat if you don't mind being a little cozy plus one seat in the front.

Levittown...I should mention I am OLD. But I still know how to party. I just don't drive. I spoke to my cousin, who does nursing for festivals and he thinks he may be able to take me but he's got quite a few things going this summer, the Orb, the Harvest and the bear picnic in PA. But if not I am a single 44 year old female very easy going and anxious to BURN!!

I'm from Silver Spring, MD Been twice but unfortunatly
there's too much on my plate now so I'm not going next month.
