Riding a Motorcycle to the Burn

this topic doesn't really fit under the "2007 theme" heading, but there areen't any other choices. .

I live in michigan and plan to leave the jacuzzi bus at home and ride the motorcycle to the burn in 2007. I have a plan on how to get all my supplies to the playa. You can't even carry an appropriate amount of water on your bike to last a week, let alone the rest of the needed supplies.

I'm looking for a riding partner. Someone who also has a reliable motorcycle and lives east of the mississippi....or anywhere along I/70 or I 80 and is crazy enough to ride to the burn. 2 or more bikes are always more fun than 1

I regularly do long-distance motorcycle trips, and have been to the burn on my bike twice. With ALL my stuff.

Last time was 2 years ago. I'm only coming from Seattle, but my BMW R100rs loved the trip. I just waited to pick up most of my food and water until I hit the east side of the mountains. Then it was a couple of hours - badly overloaded - and I was "home" on the playa.
