What's happened to older feedback requests?

I have noticed that both the Feature Requests and the Bugs and Problems
threads are only showing newer items.

Is there a reason for this?

I can see that it might be efficient to archive issues that had been
addressed already, but I know that there were a number of requests
that are in the process of being addressed, but are not complete, that
have disappeared from view.

I was the originator of one of those threads (re: read/unread marks), and
it doesn't show up when I search for all my posts.

I think it's useful to have items that have not yet been addressed
(whether it's to grant the request, deny it, or defer it) remain visible so
that we as users know it's still pending. Or maybe that's not how you
(the tech team) planned to use this forum, which is fine too, but I'd like
to understand what it is that you intend.

Last time I checked I was working with Haunani on the netiquette and FAQ page. And I admit to stalling on that because I never emailed Haunani and with all the other changes going on, I wanted to wait a bit. As for archiving posts, I'm in KC and essentially light years away from anything that would move a post anywhere. As one of my favorite songs goes: It wasn't me!

The recent changes and features you have seen buzzing about this forum happen to be the quickest and easiest to implement and release.

The most requested features and changes also happen to be the ones that require mods, or engineering work under the hood. We've been actively adjusting the display layer to hit as many of these community requests that have been made as possible.

I can tell you that the requests you mention are of the highest priority, and are being taken seriously. We just need a little time to develop and test.

Thanks, I totally understand that many of the requests require significant
changes and testing and am in no way trying to be impatient about that.

But that wasn't exactly the point of my original message; sorry if that
wasn't clear. I'm truly curious about what happened to the older feedback
requests and bug reports.
