I think I might have found it one night by the trash fence.
It was obviously blown away.

I'm sorry, my friend, I fear your mind is wandering free on the open playa, beyond the confines of the trash fence. It escaped atop one of the Collossus Croquet balls on an especially windy afternoon. It seemed to be dreaming of competing for the land speed record (and surely winning!).

That wasn't his. I saw that one go over the fence and it looked pretty fresh to me. I think I saw his jammed in between a couple of porta potties someplace around 5:00 and Delerium. It was all shrivelled up and dessicated so I could tell it had been there for a year or two. I went to touch it expecting it to be crunchy, possibly break when I pushed on it but it was sticky. It was really sticky and kinda gooey. I pulled back once I had touched it because it wasn't what I was expecting to feel and damned if it didn't stick to my finger. I flung my wrist like I was shaking down a fever thermometer to get it off and it went flying somewhere else. I took a quick look around for it but I didn't see where it went. Hope it didn't land on anyone riding past. Or maybe someone ran over it. No idea. Anyway, I would look around in the 5:00 and 4th street area next year. It should be around there someplace. Probably has a bunch of dust on it and just looks like a clod. MOOPers will probably miss it.

I don't believe any of the above belong to me. You will know if its mine if it say's "eh" and compulsivley speaks of the Winnipeg Jets coming back & It may still smell like Bacon.
