I have been trying to find out about that band on the Flower Crane, but nothing's turned up on the web.

A fellow burner said he asked and they said the name of the band and/or installation was called 'Miracle Grow'

They blew my mind for three nights, seriously great music. Any info is appreciated.

Helios Jive was the band who played on the flower. I am still blown away at the amazing flower and the messages keep flowing in about how much of an impact our music had. We love you all.

Bump on this, great great music in the chillest of atmospheres. Was shroomin the first night and had to come back the following night to verify how blown away i was the night before. It was d-o-p-e dope.

hey there....

i'm a bike messenger in Chicago, and today i'm cranking north on Michigan ave, through the heart of the Magnificent Mile....and what do i see??

The Flower crane!!!!! (sans the bad/stage) I was so blown away by that...it really made my week.

I stopped and chatted with Derek, who filled me in that yes indeed it was the same proprietor from Burning man. (he seemed to want to keep the Burning Man thing on the down-low...Lexus had rented the crane for advertising purposes on Michigan Ave.)

Thanks again for a WONDERFUL time. Top-notch, TOP-NOTCH!
