I can't see the image of the captain from here at work so I don't know what I'm missing out on. Anyway when it comes to guns and cannons IMHO it doesn't get any better than a 16 inch Iowa class battleship firing HE shells. Sure the Yamato had 18 inchers and there are other larger guns...but for sheer volume of firepower there's nothing that can equal a broadside from one of those ships.

Sorry to go offtopic but I can't resist highlighting a subject I thoroughly enjoy.

1. Isn't our world amazing? We can all show and (even little kids) look at a weapon that can maim and mangle without pity. But a naked woman? Oh my god....not that!!!!!! Damage control!!! Damage control!!!!

So war...good.....naked hotties....bad. Got it!!!

2. As for the Yamato and her sistership the Musashi, unfortunately for the Japanese they selected the worst possible time in history to design and build the largest warships ever to date.

This is most ironic since they had proved that a Val or Kate (at the cost of a few hundred thousand yen) could take out a great battleship as they did with the HMS Prince of Wales in the South China Sea (not to mention Pearl Harbor....today's anniversary....your Arizona memorial proves the point!!).

Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Since the sinking of these super-battleships, the U.S. has only used battleships as floating artillery and a way to impress the natives. That's pretty much all they're good for today.....

The last moments of the Musashi as the Japanese (re)learn a painful lesson about super-battleships versus air power.

ps-as far as going off topic, these Norwegians need to learn a thing or two about our weaponry. Once it is "old and busty" they'll be buying it from us anyway. In fact, I think they just bought the Iowa...gonna rename it the Oslo and scare the shit out of the Danes.

Know what I find amazing? That the whole focus of this fishy camp is Apokiliptika. I'm kinda honored that we have entire camps fucsed on US! Their main proponents' avatars feature... what? Not fish. Sounds like the "end" result of indegestion brought about by consumption of an overabundance of Legumes, and other methane-prodcing feed. As heard through the tinny quality of cheap Norweigan microphones?

Bouancy Compensation? Anti-predator Tactics? Isn't this all a polite way of saying "massive fish farts that smell so bad they scare off anything within 100 km??"

NOW... we have the answer to where that *smell* comes from. Yeech...
