Is there a list of the themes that have been used posted somewhere?

If you go to "Theme Camps" from the main menu, you'll see a year-by-year listing of the themes, camps, theme art and so forth.

So far, it's a tossup for next year between "Hats" and "Animals"...(or "Animals with Hats"......)

I could have the "Wheel of Hats" and "Wheel of Animals" in my camp, so people could spin and randomly create hat/animal combos.....

How about The Forbidden, and in depth look at the things the world says we can't do

Streets could be named after taboo practices--Necrophilia, Beastiality, Nudity, Cannibalism, etc.

Think of the camps....it would give one pause to see a sign saying 'Pony Rines'--and every barbeque would be suspect

With the current state of the world, perhaps Mother Nature, Leave No Trace, Ecosystems, Gaia or something in that neighborhood would be the way to go for 2006.

LEAVE NO TRACE is a theme EVERY year. And it's entirely up to YOU to infuse the theme with meaning- That's what makes having a theme at all worthwhile. The fun is beholding the broad diversity of interpretation within a shared context. And you are under no obligation whatsoever to adhere to the theme, anyway- It'd be a waste to forsake artistic vision for conformity. A lot of folks rail against the theme, while others welcome it as a springboard towards greater creativity. Personally, I do both.
