Hello from Enköping

Now i have a ticket. RV and bike booked, it is time to stop lurking.

Virgin from Sweden here.Planing to go solo, fly to Las Vegas and then drive up to Reno and get supplies and the bike.

Have spent the last couple of month reading, watching photos/video.
Alot of thought about of how to participate from running a full scale bar, midsummer celebration to more realistic
things for a virgin on the other side of the Atlantic.

Hi Mikgus!

Allow me to recommend some preservative-free artificial tears for your packing list.

Welcome to the board.

Okay, since I have you here, can you tell me what how the Swedish "boiled coffee" thing works.

or... i could take out my contact lenses at least once a month :)

Had to read up about "Koka kaffe" haven't had it in along time and i have never made it myself. It tastes really good if you get it right.

you put coffee in a pot and pour cold water on it.
heat it up until it just start to boil.
remove it from the heat source, if you let it boil it will get really bitter.
Let it rest for a while so the coffee sinks to the bottom and the pour it carefully.

Maybe i should bring a couple of packets to gift

:D
Put coin in coffee cup.
Pour in coffee until you can no longer see the coin.
Pour in bryggerhuskondensat until you can see it again.
Enjoy.

Elliot had forgotten that clasic :)
Another one for those who dont like coffee.
Fill a large pot with water add a bag of sugar and about twenty teabags. Boil until you remember the pot.
add as much moonshine as there are tea left.

Knowmad im not sure yet, i will have about a week to get supplies and drive from Vegas to brc and haven't decided how to spend the time.
If allot happens in Reno i will try to get there earlier

Welcome to eplaya! Are you a Bartender? If so, maybe you should hit up some playa bars to perform for a night..or an hour or two! If they brush you off, or tell you it's a stupid idea, you can tell them it was my idea. Hint: Bars run out of mixers before booze on the playa, if you want to gift. Best of Luck!!

running a bar is like paying for an imaginary three other burners..

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.
