Greetings fantastic desert dwellers,

The place of Burning Man has been on my mind for many days, growing from the subliminal space of dreams to emerge resplendent into the now of waking life. I intend to bring few expectations, letting the experience take me where it wills, but I do seek to learn of the unclutching my heart to remember how to give fully as well as to receive fully. Perhaps I am simply a naive idealist, but I like to imagine how the way of life that Burning Man seems suggests is possible could be our lives all of the time...In other words, I wonder how society could be redesigned, if we wished, to allow the giving, the freedom, the abundance of art and creative ingenuity that is there to pour forth into the streets.

Ah gosh, enough already. I'm quite thankful to be here, and very excited to experience what y'all have been building out on the Playa.
