Greetings from a virgin burner

Hi all!

I'm a 26 year old computer security guy living in Pittsburgh. I will be graduating from school in 2 weeks and will be moving to San Francisco. I am originally from India; I spent about 12 years of my life living in Dubai and another 12 years in India. I have a lot of interesting stories to share. This is my first time at Burning Man and I'm really excited. I attended a few local burner events and met a couple of nice burners here. They were kind enough to give me survival tips and point to interesting stuff at the playa. I have the survival guide memorized. I'm also waiting for my copy of 'This Is Burning Man'... just can't get enough

I am looking for a camp to join. I've been speaking with a few camps, but still haven't made up my mind. Send me a message if your camp is looking for a member and you think I'd be a good fit. I can help with organizing events. I'm also pretty big and can help with moving stuff around. I can also teach people to lucid dream or do zazen.

I notice that camps are actively recruiting this year, thanks to the ticket uncertainty--although it's hit & miss as to whether they will find you in the Introduce Yourself forum, so look around a bit and don't hesitate to email or PM the ones you like with your skills & traits & tell 'em why their approach and yours meshes. There are also non-theme camps that are purely social, or camping independently (you'll have neighbors, regardless).

Everything Sav said plus, even if you don't find a camp it's no big deal. Lots of people do the solo thing, and have wonderful-ness of times. (If that made sense)
