Several years ago I stumpled upon Burning Man for the first time and since then I was totally obsessed with the idea to go to Black Rock City.
The big problems were at this time that I attended school and wasn't able to afford the money for the trip and I was under age in America and also in Germany.
The years passed and I passed school. Now I'm doing an apprenticeship as a mediadesigner and with some savings for several months I could make my trip to BM happen. Yes right, I could...
The new problem is that I can't go on holidays in August because I have to go to school twice a week and I can't take a day off on these days.
So my new plan is to start saving money for BM and try to go there in 2014 after my final exams when I finished my apprenticeship.
I hope the ticket situation is going to get better than this year and it will be as great as it was until now.
I'm afraid that it is getting worse and a lot of veterans won't come anymore. But maybe I'm just reading to many of those posts and articles how everything is getting worse and worse
My lungs are again feeling like they are going to burst because I'm so excited about going to Burning Man!
Over the years I had weeks I hadn't thought about BM but these were the exception.
Since there is so much trouble with this year's ticket situation I'm soaking much more BM related stuff into my mind than any year before and as a result I'm even dreaming about BM, it's scary...
Well, I hope I can make it to Burning Man in 2014 and will meet a lot of interesting new people and hopefully I can help as a volunteer (especially helping the lamplighters looks appealing to me) or at a camp to make everything as awesome as possible!
