Another Virgin Question....

I've wanted to go to Burning Man for quite some time but can't seem to talk anyone in to going with me. Would it be nuts for an outgoing 37 year old woman to go to Burning Man by herself?
Any input would ge greatly appreciated! Thanks Burners!

It wouldn't be nuts at all. You could camp by yourself or find a nice group of people to camp with.

Not nuts at all, plenty of folks do that. Stag Camp is one such collective of singletons and newbs.

How much room does Stag Camp have? I swear I have seen at least 100 newbies say that they are camping with Stag camp. Certainly there is limited space, right?

But don't let that discourage you. There are tons of camps that would love to have a new member.

I went by my self the first time a 38 year old girl... had the best time of my life !!!!! As I have every year since!!!! Met a great group of guys who I camped by, (actually 3 groups of guys-who are still ALL my buddy's) and lots of other wonderful people.. SOOO JUST DO IT !!!! Read GUIDE, Bring warm clothes, good walking shoes, lots of socks, ear plugs, chap stick, and googles...

If you going from AZ I can give you a ride. Just share in gas cost and im cool with it. I was going to have an RV but decided to can that idea due to rising fuel costs.

Right on! I appreciate the words of encouragement. I figured the Burning Man Community would welcome me into the fold...just needed a little push. I'm going to start making my plans. Can't wait!

Do I need to register with Stag Camp ahead of time?
