Hey Everyone!

New Burner alert; I'm from NYC, but three of us (a lass from MAss., a dude from D.C) will be driving out from San Fransisco in the world's most old-school volvo.

IMHO, though I'm open to all that comes with BM and look forward to participating (not just spectating) in any way I can, the self-reliance aspect of BM makes me... a wee bit nervous.

Hence, we're hoping to link up with an interesting camp, or even a couple of people who wouldn't mind going in on an RV rental.

Questions? Comments? Statements? Let me know!

Oh, we're bringing a tent as well, for during the day...but solely surviving in one isn't an option, due to our lad's extreme asthma. As it is, we're expecting him to wear a HAZMAT-approved dust mask for most of our stay. (I'm only half-joking on that one.)
But I digress...yes, we'd like to share an RV or other large vehicle with others, and no, a tent is not practical for the entire time.

I guess that's a matter of perception. I'll locate the number for playa room & maid service for you.

I guess I should disclaim that I am just fucking with you. I am just acclimating you to eplaya, get used to it. If you want to spend your time in an RV, that's your choice.

Its ok, Simon. I know you're just jealous that the only thing Rochester has to offer is the culinary belly bomb you guys call "garbage/trash plates."

But they are damned tasty...

A garbage plate is a true Rochester delicacy. It is a disorganized combination of cheeseburger, hamburger, sausages, steak, chicken, hots, or eggs, on top of two out of three (homefries, fries, beans, or mac salad), made to order. On top of that you get the options of mustard & onions and hot sauce. This usually comes with a side of white bread and butter.

The original Garbage Plate is from Nick Tahou's but you can get a plate from tons of places

Or actually old?

You may not have as many issues with the dust as you might think.
There is a lot of it.

Maybe we'll have another year like 2006.
No dust, no heat.

Tell the guy from mass to bring me a coffee cab and a linguica sandwich.
And any pastry from a portuguese bakery!
