Got my tickets at OMG last Wednesday. I've heard about BM few times before but I never understood what it is. Until last Feb, I met amazing Aussi that told me BM is the place for me.
She showed me some videos and describe it the best she can - but I still don't know what to expect. But I'm taking this as an adventure and I got very good feeling inside...
I got no plan on how to get there yet (from San Diego) and no idea where to camp.
I'm thinking about flying direct (1 and a half hours) and taking the "express bus" service from Reno.

Read up on the food permitting discussions. You don't want to give anyone food poisoning, and you don't want to get a ticket. I know something of the disappointment you may be feeling after reading that. I have three bottles of vodka infusion... Now, it's going to be an in camp thing. Of course, you didn't make the wine at home. (Well, maybe you did, but I'm assuming even in our diy culture, that's not a common thing on playa... And heck, I've even has some...) Better safe than sorry.
theCryptofishist wrote:This is the latest outbreak of the arguments. Given that you do this already, you probably know what to do. I think, if you pour into people's own cups, or use single use stuff (not recommended--although, if you were to order shot glasses and give them away as a souvenir--have something printed on them it wouldn't be particularly moopy), then you're not dealing with the dish washing issue, and you're okay.
theCryptofishist wrote:You dear, sweet thing. We need more like you. There are a lot of people who are never told anything, and don't do any research, and expect to have their hands held the whole way through. You can insist you are only giving to those who bring there own cups, and you're probably okay. Double check the link in Trilobyte's post at the top of that thread to be sure.

Sounds like you'll be a 'stealth' virgin, all prepared 'n shit.
Come to the MnG on Wednesday!
