hello lovely burner, first a few word about me :

my name is Xavier, a french guy on his 30 physically but always between 7 and 156 mentally ... it is the study which prove it.
Never went to the bid and mythical playa from the state but i already did 3 Nowhere which is the family size burning man of Europe (only 1000 people so really family size) but after it is a desert with a lot of crazy people and a lot of advanced burner and more, i was always volunteering before and after the event in order to build and make this event, i also proposed 2 times a hammock camp which is if i trust the other people a success.
So am i really a virgin after all this or just a half virgin who need to meet a true wife who make me really mad?

but sadly i cannot go to the BM 2012 so i hope we'll survive the end of the world in order to go in 2013 ... and maybe if life allows me, as a volunteer again, i am not afraid of the weather and some effort so i'll make anything to enjoy the desert in it wild state before it crazy state and again it wild state.

can we be really prepared??? in fact except the casual thing for my survival, i prefer to prepare nothing and be amazed at every instant..... in fact this is how i prefer to live my life even if it is true that burning man have a lot more opportunities to be amazed.

but for us people from far away burning man is really an adventure which need a lot of preparation so i cross my finger for 2013 but being here is the first step for me.

i don't have really something in mind, i was just curious because for 2013, like i have the time, maybe i won't come to burning man empty handed.

for the presentation, this year in the desert of spain, i design this and made a camp fro almost 20 people (actually this design is not what i really made on site but it give an idea.




after i have a lot of idea so the principle "participation" will be respected

apparently there is already an hammock camp in burning man so this one will stay in Europe for a little moment. but don't worry, i have already a project for the burning man in my head (in fact give me 1 hour and i can find ;ore easily) but i'm waiting after the event to reveal it :p

but yeah i hope too to come the next year, in fact i don't hope, i know! Only the end of the world could make me avoid the burning , and in fact i'm not really sure about this!!

ok but it was already kind of complicated to make this camp in spain so in USA, i don't imagine all the mess. and my plan is to be with the volunteer during all the week giving my sweat and my blood to the event but i'll see this the next year.

beautiful people, since the last post, i am one step closer to lose my virginity (again??) but as an burner from the other side of the sea, i have some question>

i plan to travel light so joining a camp seems to me the best way to handle the "autonomy" thing so :
if i just post here that i am looking for a camp, will people jump on my neck like a wolf on a weak lamb in order to convince me to join them? or do i have to face interview and send CV...euh a quick resume about me to convence them to take them in their company ... euh camp (oh fucking hell, all ythe bad memories which come back to me right now!!!!!)

do the camp begin to ask for people (if they ask) early or do i have to wait a little more in order to have the choice?? (edit : ok silly question : a lot of camp is looking for campmate)
how do you read the position of the camp (thing like esplanade, 3:40 blabla ok on this thing i am a virgin)?

where is the camp not really meditation but not always party?
ok let's try this : elder burner, which camp do you think is the best for a guy who sleep in hammock (a must have), not a BIG camp (thing like 20 people max but this criteria is optionnal) which assume that sometimes(often) i'll be wandering around the playa and volunteering a lot for the event, actually a camp with a bar is nice, i love making cocktail for people but it is not a must have?

I'd say you need to research camps, and contact them.
I'm not sure they are going to beg you to join, well, unless you DJ or are an artist......but even then, don't depend on being fought over.
Do you own research, find what seems like good "fits" and reach out.
