date stamp

How come this board is displaying today's date as 1/9? My system has the right date, my email is coming in date/timestamp correct.

Perhaps you've got your time zone settings mixed up? Everything looks fine on my end (UTC-8).
Go to User Control Panel -> Board Preferences, and then under Edit Global Settings (first section) check the settings for 'My Timezone'
