You'll be squatting in the middle of the desert by that time.

The part that humans do is (most likely) set up the accounts for the spambots, who then periodically hit the boards with 1-16 posts at a time, several times per day. Frog, Oblique, and Nerve have been the three most active lately (the latter two dropping 16 posts an hour at times). On average, between 1/3 and 1/2 of it gets flagged for us by you wonderful people, which makes it much easier for us to find and identify the other posts that may be out there. Fingers crossed, though, we'll have some kind of countermeasures in place in the not too distant future.

(and I like it when the fish-oil spammer spams the other spammers) Not quite as much fun as Simon chatting amongst his socks, but close
Have you noticed the spambots are having no problems find really old threads to re-activate. It's like JPQ is back, but making more sense.

Then the "real" admins don't need to stick around while this trash gets cleared out. It won't clear up all the problems, but the fact that a spammer can repeatedly use the same account really irks me.

It seems like lately all my time gets spent either digging through stuff here or scrambling to get my own camp together, but every time I turn around blam blam blam, he's got more posts. The jerk
