I think we lost Dork's anti-spam modification during the migration.

Plus we have a lot of new users we need to train to report spam here, not to reply to it.
I'm too jaded to think up a good sig-line. Need more coffee.

There is an increase in spammers who try to blend in with comments or jokes, who have blatant links in their signature lines. I strongly suggest everyone look at the sig-line before replying.
I'm too jaded to think up a good sig-line. Need more coffee.

Very determined spammer, I deleted similar posts this morning, but under a different username. Has to be an individual, registration now uses capture codes.
I'm too jaded to think up a good sig-line. Need more coffee.

We could if mods could delete users, which we can't. But no fear, the posts came through. Those, I deleted.

A spammer a day.... most of these get in, drop seven to nine posts and never return. If they do return, it is with a different username/login/IP. Then there's the sneaky stealth spam with commercial signature lines.

Thank you, got them. I've been using the reports on the mod control panel, so if you no longer want to copy and paste, just hit the "!" icon. It sends me a report and I can view the topic and.or post and access the mod actions drop down. This is one vast improvement from the mod angle!
I'm too jaded to think up a good sig-line. Need more coffee.

Yeah, it drops the report into "Moderator Control Panel" where any of the mods can get at it easily. My first eplaya stop these days.
