Just a friendly reminder that sending yourself "something" that is illegal is an automatic Felony through the USPS, whereas if your stupid ass just gets caught with it it will prolly just be a misdemeanor.

So they just drop it in the mail box, and some one in the village just drops it by town?

With as large as the BMorg keeps making BDV it could take a little while just to deliver mail with in town.

You'll meet a lot of people trying to figure out where the hell you're going.

I know this is an older thread, but I'm wondering this myself. The PO doesn't have a link to signup for volunteering on the site like other places. Is it possible to just show up and help deliver? I would loovvvvvvvve to do this..

Have you ever been to a post office before? It's kind of like that, only not at all. Stop by to volunteer to deliver mail, telegrams & e-mails or just come to us to send mail on & off playa. You may not always need a stamp but you definitely need patience for bureaucracy- like a post office!

This is old but thought it could use a bump since I saw some recent questions about the Black Rock Post Office

Last year I was trying to post a letter late, like Fri or Sat, and the PO, the one by the 9 o'clock plaza, turned me into a intra-playa delivery. There was some playa to playa correspondence, and I agreed. It took a bit to find the camp and the young woman. She took the message and walked away, without a word. Like it was my no thanks needed job or I was her servant. Woulda' pissed me off, but hey, not on the playa. But just a tip, as if she is reading ePlaya, those are actually volunteers who do that. Not servants. It was actually funny to see a sparkle pony in action.
