Heres the deal guys.

We are 3 DJ burners who are tapped out. Our BM plane ticks were the last of our funds....and we were supposed to have ticks waiting for us this year but our camp bailed out.... Is there someone who is lookin' for music talent at their camps who may want to sponsor some bros?....

Seems Digital-Dragonfly caught you in a lie about your sob story, I think the responses you've gotten are the ones you deserve.

What else is the community at large expected to provide for you, at our just-as-hard-earned expense? If you're flying in, and can't afford tickets, how the hell are you providing for yourself all week out there? You certainly can't be carrying everything on the plane.
How do you have a massive mobile sound system and all the other shit you need but can't get your own ticket? It doesn't add up. The ticket itself generally is NOT the bulk of the expense on a BM trip.
Unless there's a camp of other people you're mooching from to provide everything...

OH! That's why so many of your posts are about looking for a camp to join!!

Sound like one killer crew... I bet camps are fighting in line up to get to "sponsor" them.

1) they shot their wad buying plane tickets to Reno (so who is going to haul their ass to the playa? don't DJ's only ride in limos? make that Hummer limos ???)

2) their camp "flaked" (so where are they sleeping?, what are they eating? WHERE IS THEIR WATER???? not to mention their "refreshments"?)

3)They plan to go around @ 5 or 6 in the morning harassing other burners with their 'on loan' "massive mobile sound system"

please tell me where in BRC they'll be camped... so I be on the far side of town.

[I read somewhere that 10,000 people is the optimum size for a city... with numbers beyond that-- people become objects & systems become chaotic)

(ok, I admit I'm a bit envious. All those years that I busted my ass to get to BRC no matter what was wasted time. All I had to do was come on the eplaya and ask for a free ride! Who knew? I'll take two tickets and gas money to cover expenses from Denver so I don't have to sit at Invesco Field at Mile High and listen to Obama's coronation speech. Hey, if the DJ's can get free comps... Seriously...I can't afford to go so I'm staying home. It's called radical self-reliance. No free rides. )

Actually the first year I went to BM was 1998 and had 40 bucks and a half sheet of mind melting candy. I had an awesome time. Ive missed a few years here and there but am a burner to the core, believe me. My other couple bros have been about 5 years...

Ok SHerlocks... weve gotten several offers from camps when we get there...
so cool out...
