I don't expect to get a guide, as I got my ticket from a walk in outlet.

Again, not a big deal...I already downloaded and printed it from the website. Just curious...

Seriously, if you've got our money in February and are going to waste paper to snail-mail the Guide, it should come out at LEAST a month before the event. Some of us leave early and it isn't much good sitting in my mailbox while I'm on the playa. Please mail it before we all panic because it's only two weeks before we leave and then have to print it out and waste even more paper. I KNOW we can read it online but if you're gonna mail it anyway... at least let us know it's on it's way and give us a chance to save our own trees. And our sanity. At least till we get there.

Perhaps someone in-the-know could fill us in on what final production/printing is waiting on (every year) and why it seems to always come out at the last minute, or, at least after I've already had to go online to make sure I haven't missed anything important before I leave. Maybe we can help.

Or is it really just for the virgins?
