I ordered a $175 BURNINGMAN 2005 ticket through paypal on January 5th, 2005, and I have yet to see it. I am sitting in a pool of sweatty agony in hopes that it will find its way to my mailbox soon. I reek of displeasure because there is no way in hades that I can afford another ticket, let alone one in the $250 tier

Anyone else like me out there? I know I'm one of a kind, but being stranded sucks ass.

Unfortunately, I have already covered those bases, and am still ticketless. I may be the 1% that gets lost in the mail. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

Which might seem like a smarmy question to ask but...really, it ain't. If you paid that little extra you're probably gonna be alright. Threads like yours pop up every re. undelivered tickets. It wasn't until I saw it happen to my best friend that I relaized that there was something to it and that our renowned postal service sometimes ani't what it is cracked up to be.

Since then I've always ordered with the extra delivery costs.

Last year when I ordered my ticket.. I found that the envelope wasnt scealed, it was just open in the mailbox. As if they forgot to lick the sceal.. BUT THANKFULLY my ticket was in there! That was such a relief!! But I must recommend more lickers in the ticket mailing department ;)

Ihope you mean, more of those little spongy things to wet the envelope--or even those newfangled tapey envelopes, because I have a problem with the idea that people actually having to lick that cockroach attractant glue.
