improv-lovin' southpaw bass player wants to jam

I'm planning on bringing my acoustic/electric bass and would love to make some advance connections with some fellow musicians to perform, jam, write new stuff, etc.

I play blues, rock, funk, jazz, and am open to new styles. You can hear some samples of one the bands I play with at www.triplizard.com.

Also, does anyone know if there will be some kind of house bass amp I can plug into? Despite being a/e, my bass is pretty quiet on its own steam. I'm flying from the east coast and won't have room to also bring an amp.
