Thanks Robot and Dutchy. You really validate our efforts because of who you are and what your are both capable of.

Killbuck and I are volunteering at the moop mopping this weekend on the playa. We hope to test drive MiniMan there and if we can get our camera set up right, we'll get some good shots to post.

Hey Jellyfish,
Thanks again for helping out at the DPW work weekend and
for bringing MiniMan. What a kick! I was watching when you
went dark aways from camp then flicked him on in another
location. Nice.

Great job with MiniMan. I look forward to seeing him on
the playa this year as well as seeing how y'all evolve
him in future years.

It was great to playa test MiniMan and I stayed a day later for a soak at Frog Pond and his torsoe got hammered with rain and hail as it was strapped to the back of my trailer. No harm done... I hope. All thanks to Killbuck and his hot glue gun addiction.

The bike riding ric shaw mini man is coming. The ric shaw body is complete, a little more bling bling to go on the bike and the man has working legs also a rib cage. Needs arm and head. Lighting is going on as it builds. Taged myself four times with the flash saw. With blood thinner it looks like I was killed. Got some on the man dripped some sweay too. No crying yet. Blood, sweat and tears along with other crap.

Sounds cool, gore and all! I have two bandaids and numerous small scratches from raw metal edges on last night's beer-fueled art project, a wearable electric Tiki head.

My Own Art Hungers For My Blood.....but I'll draw the line at anything that'll keep me from going Home. I'm halfway through PT for a pinched nerve, in fact....I keep feeding blood to the art because my left thumb and index finger are numb, and have been for about a month now. Kinda freakin' me out, man. It's sl-o-w-ly getting better, but I'm getting damn tired of drilling/slicing/burning my fingers.

Your fingers are like my feet,sides of the head and face. I'm dropping things a lot now. my finger don't know there is a tool in them some times. Few weeks back a guy backed over my foot. Didn't feel any thing except I couldn't move my foot. The van was on it. Had to have a xray to see any damage.(none). I wacked my self with saw becose the arms and leg move with out me ordering it. I do a great drunk when walking. (:>)

I applaud your courage for coping with such afflictions! It tries my patience just to have two sleepy fingers! Just need to pay more attention to where the hell they are, and less attention to what's in that nice cold can....I came WAY too close to getting taught a permanent lesson by Mr. Miter Saw the other day, and didn't dodge a little love bite from Mr. Eighth-Inch Drill Bit.

Did ok yesterday. cept the nap monster got me for 2 hours. Put mini mans backbone and head on. Don't like the head. (See when art is done thread) So I will replace it today. May get one arm on. Need pic's to register M V Sunday. Also working like mad with a horse with no name. He will be mounted on the disability scooter. Mini man will have a all American red neck ass. NO bunns(;<(

My pitiful attempt at kinetic art is now registered. Both the mini man ric shaw and Horse With No Name scooter.

The ric shaw lacks the mans arms and power pack mounted. The horse needs some sewing. That's go'na look great with huge sack stitches. Threading a needle alone, for me is like putting a noddle up a wild cats ass.

Shit, I've been putting off sewing The Cloak Of Shame for those same reasons. Really tempted to goop it and forget it! The pearls 'n' piping sewing attachment works fine for straight runs of el wire on fabric, but forget it for lettering or anything curvey.

There's always hemming tape, which you iron on...Kinda like thin strips of hotglue, I think. My wife swears by it, as a non-sewer. If you have to embroider text onto the cloak, how about fabric paint?
