Viewed an incredible documentary on globalism, consumerism, etc at an art installation on the playa built as a TV set sitting atop an alter with pews facing it. The pews contained additional TV sets; some working, some spewing static. The installation was located out on the northern portion of the playa beyond the camps somewhere between Gospel and Dogma (I know, I know) out on the playa. I'm hoping to contact the artist for a copy of the documentary; if you know what I'm talking about / can provide some more clues I'd greatly appreciate it!

The piece was called "The Medium is the Religion" by Takeshi Irie.

I consider this instalation the most "serious" art piece i have seen on the playa, hell it could have gone into any modern art museum

Yes i now it's about self expresion and that all is art, but this is my opinion
