Yeah, I have no idea, I could get no concensus. We we went out to watch the Persieds Meteor Shower maybe 10 miles east of where DPW et al is building BRC. The weather, besides the expected hot, was great Little to no wind, no clouds at night offered great views of long and large 'shooting stars', no rain
But speculation -- multiple whiteouts - daily, depleting the population. I won't say why, but folks leaving was second.
Giant rains like 2000 flooding the playa trapping us all in the sticky goo. There were a couple others, but some people can be so dark. OK, I did put money down on one outcome but it was a longshot. My winning anything requires a pretty large body count...

Don't recall 2000 having any significant rain, just a sprinkle that dried up in a day but nonetheless made a lot of people stupid.

We were about to do our usual ritual for good weather...
But the land lord stopped by and got really pissed off that we had a goat on the patio. I tried to convince him that the goat was only gonna be there for a few days, but he demanded we get rid of the goat immediately.........

Now, he is billing us $382 dollars for removing the weird stains in the garage.
