Dood! The frickin event is 25 years old. Do the Math- How old do you THINK most of the people are who started this happy crap and continue to go yearly? IN FACT we are all in our 50s..you dope its the PLAYA the BURN and the ROUGH lifestyle that keeps us so young lookin... 50 is the new 32- 60 is the new 40 and 70 plus well .. if you use your sunscreen and drink your PBR- youll never have to qualify it. This aint no shuffelboard bingo- horseshoe knitting circle..we do have some amazing camps founded by the devil may care who gives a fuck cuz we are retired incidental burners who have left quite a mark on our experiance-
I suggest they build a Temple or build a largescale artcat transport- or take up spanking....Maybe start an LLC.
Look pal one day your gonna wake up and its gonna suddenly be your 15th burn- and what do you think youd be doing?
All you have to do is look around and expand your veiw and youll see that th burner ages are from 2 weeks old to 90 or more..
and we all do our part lookin great doin it at our own pace- Show your older persons the website shots and look the gallery- the members of the offices and the mission statement.
But be aware- all walkers and hoverchairs must be modified to fit the strict DMV policys...proper lighting ect..speed limits must not exceed 5 mph in the city..if you slow down and take in the sights you might see who your playin with.

The best thing about being over 50 on the playa is the freedom that not having young children gives you. No more having to have a baby sitter, more free cash cuz you aren't supporting them anymore. (Which I really needed for my latest propane flame effect.) So as a 55 year old who has been going the the playa for many years, for at least 3 weeks at a time, I love my burner family, young and "old". Sometimes I can't tell who is young and who is old. Age is just a state of mind.
