I cannot speak for everyone, but many of us have had trouble with posting our own photos. Perhaps it seems like we are ganging up on you. I've reached the point where I have a fondness for you. You've made more that 200 posts, and I'm so in my dream world that you haven't stood out until now. I don't think that there's been a whole lot of malice towards you in this thread.
(BTW--a lot of the girls on this board, kick ass.)

Last time I fell for that, she ended up working for nasa.
She did act really ditzy, but...apparently not.

I have no problem posting photos, but getting the damn things into the computer AND finding them again gives me fits.

There was a thread somewhere about similar logos to burning man, and people found quite a few that were really close.

The one you found looks like a burner trademark, but I wouldn't be surprized if it was adapted.
Was it hand painted?

Anybody got the nerve to try search?

I always thought his name was "The".

I like to pronounce it with a soft "th".... like Theo.

Last night I met my first person with even a vague clue as to what I was talking about.

So this makes me think I should install The someplace visible here, to encourage burners to drop by.

I have no dog to deter them from entering the compound.

yes the pic is from this year...2011.... and there was a dog...a big one...and there was a house..behind the trees...but the day started out a bad day and when i seen it ..it made me smile...so dose any one else have a pic to share...

The "one one" is the highway which runs around the south end of Big Island from Kona to Hilo (or Hilo to Kona). Very scenic indeed, except for the long boring stretch through the lava fields and macadamia orchards, and even those are better than a sharp stick in the eye.

It's a nice area and a swank place.

Then again, the Honeyspot Motel in Trumbull or Stratford may have been a different story.

By the way, the Black Rock, for which the 1700s-era roadway was named, is a nice neighborhood in Bridgeport, CT, formerly a part of Fairfield. I used to live there.

And, the financial institution that handles the PayPal moneymarket fund, where I have some BRC funds squirreled away, is also called Black Rock. Neither are related to Nevada.

Black Rock is everywhere.
