I'm not sure this threat makes any sense at all. I'm a Republican, Libertarian and a Liberal. Depends on the time, the place and the issue. The playa is not a place for politics and in spite of itself it has more than enough already.

The only thing I gather from this thread is an attempt to divide people into separate camps (pun intended) when really BM is about coming together. Why would you want to go looking for a reason to hate or be hated, why not, just for one week a year, enjoy the vibe of what a 55,000 person family feels like?

honestly though,,, we do have one camp mate who brings up politics,,, even with our Canadian and Netherland campers! I try to put a squash to it,,, but that free speech thing,,,, ya know?

During the week of the event, I have an extremely low tolerance for political discussions. I believe most of us agree that BM is way too short to engage in discussions like we do on eplaya the other 50some weeks of the year.

Burning Man is about what makes us unique, but it is also about what brings us together,,,, a celebration of life in all its beautiful (using that term loosely) creativity and expression.

Even using a knife and fork can be unique,,,, and Ygmir,,, that date with a stranger thing? Details! MORE DETAILS!!!
