I read, initially this thread, and was concerned for my colleagues and I, in our visit to your playa, for our testing related to our power project.
I now see, it is in great fun, and, I can see the humor you all posses.
I am so looking forward to visiting your playa, as part of our project.
Our group, collectively, are also quite intrigued by the social aspect of your festival.
We have been studying past threads and posts, both here and other sites.
It is our hope, to be accepted as humans, not just as Deuschlanders.
We are a group of scientists and engineers and therefore, may not be so socially adept as those of you who have participated previously, but, we will make our best attempt at participation.
Thanks Kvon. When it comes to "fitting in" to our culture, let me tell you in the spirit of the humor you are learning to appreciate-- don't get your lederhosen in a twist!

. You will ALL fit right in as a direct result of your desire to be a part of it all. The reading you are doing in this group is something I wish many a virgin burner would do!
Briefly, The Ein Hammer components are now on playa and I am departing in just a few minutes to pick up our software engineer, The Pawn, and join the rest of the crew there for our field test. It will be a busy time in the beginning but we hope to find time to play with other Burners there as this is somewhat of an annual pre-burn event with fireworks as some celebrate the anniversary of our cessation from England's rule in 1776, what we call "Independence Day" and this specific event is called 4th of Juplaya.
I have all the equipment I need to gather those final core samples of the playa surface you requested, and it is on the top of my list of things to do. Do you have Fed Ex delivery or would you prefer DHL?
Be well and do strange things,
-Mister Jellyfish.
