Actually. the road comes into 34 after you leave the BM controlled area,just past Gerlach, I think it may be called something different there like county rd 48. I'll look it up and post later. So no illegal exits, much as I'd like to since the road hugs the Playa and there are ways, but , alas, I'm a get along guy.

(NOTE: If you drive thru Nixon and don't get the Indian--or as they spell it NDN--Tacos, you are missing one of the more sublime pleasures of leaving Burning Man.) FWIW, that's what I would do.

I second that Dr. Pyro. I believe you and I stop at the same Taco Lady every year. She's awesome, gives us a hug and a smile. NDN Tacos are the last thing I eat before I go on the playa and the first thing I eat coming off. It's a tradition.

There's a definite science to getting on and off the Playa with ease. Most years we are Midnight Rollers, meaning we almost always hit the Playa just after Midnight on Sunday, (Monday morning). Love Mondays on the Playa. Really.

On Sunday night I turn my cell phone back on, set the alarm for 0530, get up around 6 and roll around quarter to 7. I'm usually eating NDN Tacos by 8:30-9.
