Early Arrival Passes?

No one I know on the CORE projects have received their EA passes yet.
Heck, only a few Canadians have received their tickets... (stupid Canada Post)

From what I can tell, they (the actual "They") are working on it. This kind of thing seems to work itself out, and it all comes together, awesome and amazing... patience for a bit, then persistent pressure

It was a software issue.

They are going to re-issue.

I expect them in the next week or so, which puts them at just about the same time as they were sent out last year.

Burn Wall Street and Pier 2 have not received them yet.
Neither has the UK Core.

I just got mine a few hours ago in the resent email, although never got the original email. So I'm guessing things are starting to chug along. So who knows Doc, maybe this weekend.

Received my EA email yesterday - apparently it was sent to me once already.

Now, hopefully my arrangements to get from San Fran airport to BRC work as expected. (The plan has been changed for me twice already in the last day ) I really hate relying on other people. Prefer to do stuff myself.

Burners who live within 8 hours of BRC have no idea how simple their travel seems compared to those of us who fly in from other countries. Maybe I'll rent a car and drive to Reno, hitching a ride with my camp mates from there instead of getting a ride from the sister of a friend (who seems to be unpredictable). Guess I have 6 days to figure this out.

My DPW & Gate family tell me the Playa conditions are: Dusty, really dusty and hot.

Ok, here's one. I've already emailed our contact regarding this issue. But...I received my EA email for my shifts at DMV...a few days ago. Opened it today, to download and print my bar code, and the link provided..opened a BLANK PAGE!!

Anyone else have this problem?

A question for those of you who have had early arrival in the past: is there somewhere I can read up on any rules regarding leaving and re-entering BRC after having entered with an early arrival pass (and prior to the Gate opening)?

Yeah, talk to your project or camp leader. They received detailed info on that around the same time the passes were issued, have them pass that along to you.

Hola,
Anyone know how you get an early entry pass for an art installation on the Playa?
I'm thinking that maybe you apply when you're submitting the questionnaire for the art piece itself, but still a little unsure.
This is our first art project so I'm try'n to all our ducks in a row.

If you're going to create art that is placed in the open playa, you will want to fill out the questionnaire first. It would have to be accepted for placement before they might issue you Early Arrival (hard to say).

Asking about it before you have submitted your questionnaire makes it seem like Early Arrival is foremost in your thoughts, even if that's not the case, so it's probably best to focus on the art. Early Arrival can happen later.
