How could I pick from my favourite children? Raider's night at the BB will offer a plethora of punk - nothing after 82 or so.

I mean, obviously MY favourite punks aren't on youtube. They're not SELL-OUTS.

I saw you over in the metal camp thread. You're only going to tell me that the Damned aren't punk.

I almost posted my favourite Damned song (and Joy Division, and Bauhaus, and Siouxsie and the Banshees, the Slits, the Cure, early Go-Gos, post-punk, no wave, onandonetccetc), but generally they're not thought of as "punk." Those of us who are awful people and will argue about such things know better, and also would denote Lunachicks are some bad-ass rock-and-roll - grant "punk ROCK," but somehow they never became associated with riot grrl - but I was generally trying to post some out-and-out punk besides the well-known.

But no pop punk. /shudder

That deliciously muddy time in the 70s/80s when it wasn't all split up is where all of my favourite bands come from.

FEAR played the club I used to work at, and having beer while they sang "More Beer" was pretty great.

Hey E, if you also like X, Auntie Christ (I posted a video) has Exene as lead singer.

Another all-time favourite song:

For me it was The Clash, and X. Thaks C.f.M. for the tip on Exene... guess I lost track. She's great, her lyrics on the album, Under the Big black sun, are some of my favorites.

Well for me it's got to be Blink 182. Pseudo punk for the win.

Kidding of course, but although i don't consider myself a punk, i am a fan :P

Agent Orange - Bloodstains

Operation Ivy - Bombshell

The Offspring - Bad Habit (They certainly aren't punk anymore XD)

To name a few personal faves
