I don't plonk anybody - just try to exhibit control when my fingers are trembling to type snark in return. I adhere to the old quote "Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer". I sometimes even punish myself by listening to right wing AM radio just to know what rants are being thrown out there (shudder).

i agree. i spent one whole evening just reading through trying to figure out who all was really just one person. with the exception of Simon, it got tedious. there is one glorious thread where i think one whole page is all simon. there might have been one other person who snuck in a post, but here lately i'm thinking she might be simon too.

no worries with me having any socks, i have a hard enough time just keeping up with me.

OK, I need to jump in. This is important.
In my career as the Chief Poopervisor of the Pottie-Project I have been witness to a great number of seagulls who have dissed my Art. I have been very fortunate to have many fellow-travelers who have plonked what they have posted. I myself have plonked anyone who has posted their vitriolic and/or short-sighted bs about this very important issue. I take this kind of nastiness very personally, as you well know. I will cheerfully STOMP on anyone who fucks with my potties. I'm not amused with any negatively proffered diatribe regarding this most sacred of resources.

Because I'm primarily off-line (no fault of my own) I rely on those fellow-travelers to monitor the air-waves for these seagulls. I truly appreciate the help.

What really burns my biscuits of late is the presentation of some brilliant idealist that believes that a single sign can do the job that I have been doing for 11 years!!!!! I'm not ready emotionally to divulge this latest irritation, but leave it that I wanted to PLONK THE FUCK out of the one who presented it to me.

Can one sign - no matter how well written - do the job that my 400 signs do? I'm not convinced. My project includes signs by Participants like all of you. You know who you are - your signs are out there. To usurp this participatory art project is heinous and offensive. If there is one person who can do better than me, I want to meet that person. I am not convinced that I need "buttressing".

The signs are only the beginning of what I do. You all know what I really do. It's an on-going, constant, attention to all facets of all that is poop in our fair city.

Thank you very much Motsky for all the hard work you have done over the years for the Pottie-Project. You have been stalwart regardless of all conditions.
