The soldiers that took over this thread in the recent Coup d'etat have ordered me to give up power. I have escaped to an undisclosed location and my family is safe in this time of horror. Already rampant posting has occured and we expect it to contine until the time at which it ceases.

In the interest of my peoples I have willingly given uo the office so to preserve peace and tranquility as best I am able. Until such time I am restored to power ; through force if necessary from our allied neighbors. This letter shall serve as a call to assistance from all of our allies and our friends abroad to please assist in the retaking of this thread with as little force as necessary and render aid to the masses of refugees fleeing the carnage on this thread.

Geez - I wouldnt say "Heavy Set" I can run a marathon damnit, and Bench 315 and am happy with myself.

Sorry mdmf if I was misunderstood. By "heavy set" I meant "the cool muscular dude next to the skinny guy in the Red Sox hat". I'm sorry that I didn't recognize you without your finger in your nose! :shock:

I apologize and will make sure I don't make that mistake again. Now go wash your hands or just hang them over the side of the boat and rinse them off! :roll:

Thanks - Its just that ive been working out, climbing mountains, and lost 20 pounds. I guess im sensitive, and have to pick my nose as compensation.

Emily Post was a frequent poster in the Saturday Evening Post. Here is a cover from the August 26, 1950 Post of a coastal post office.
This is the issue from the Saturday prior to Labor Day 1950 and had Burning Man been around then, this would have been the night the Man burned.
Larry Harvey was 2 years old when this came out, and probably going through the terrible twos, lighting things on fire.
