There's no shortage of fire groups in the Bay Area.

FireSpinning on Yahoo Groups
An announcement list that Roger started a couple of months ago for fire
spinning-related announcements, including practices, performances, etc.
Minimal chatter on this list, mainly focused on announcements. Send
e-mail to: FireSpinning-subscribe[at]yahoogroups.com
Whirlygig
A list for a group that practices in an alley south-of-market (SF) on Sunday
nights. Check out

information.
Infinite Kaos/Spin Jam
Infinite Kaos hosts Spin Jam every Thursday night at
their space in the Tenderloin... Don't show up too early!
East Bay Practices
There are practices Tuesdays in Alameda and Thursdays in Union City,
but for these you really want to get on the FirePixie and FireZealots lists
on Yahoo Groups. This is mainly folks affiliated with SINtillation,
one of the best fire troupes in the Bay Area, but lots of other folks show
up to practice, too. There's also a practice at the Gazebo at Lake
Merrit in Oakland, organized by someone on the Whirlygig list (see
above).

Silicon Valley Fire
There's a group associated with the Burning Silicon Burning Man
regional group that meets to spin fire. Most practices in the past have been on Monday nights, but there's talk of changing the night. Practices tend to be in peoples' back yards, so it depends on availability of hosts.

Santa Cruz
There's a bunch of people that meet at the light house at sunset on Sundays, hosted by Nocturnal Sunshine.
Like Silicon Valley, there are also practices hosted by various people
in their yards.
