OK, now if the Bmorg will allow all the eplayans that are have been banned, we can get Eplaya to be discussion board it was always intended to be. A lot of good tech people have worked hard on Eplaya to make it stable and effective so it should be the place for our gathering.

I've never encountered that sort of error page before.
Tribe is hurtin' for certain.
I wish they would knock it off.

What types of problems would happen to YOU if tribe were to never come back online ?

Yep. Looks like they installed Tomcat 5.0 today without the patches.

That's pretty darn embarrassing.

They are now 8 times down this month.

That's an average 2 times a week.

And the year aint even started.

Wish i could help out but I just have a very hard time with IT Divas.

dont know if they are but I really dont want to find out.

i've had my full share of bad experiences. Dont need anymore.

It would be pretty sad if they were to go but at least I have my site and servers so I wont be hurtin too bad.
I need to work on my site somethin bad.
just been too busy. Though I have been working under the hood and putting together a new face and some flash, API's and VOIP stuff for it

2-3 hours is sure strange for tribe or anyone to have a error page up for that long of a time.

Maybe someone just up and left or quit.

I just went to tribe and they are still down. They have a pretty big community of burners there if I remember right. (I can't surf at my day job anymore, well that much anymore.)

That would kind of suck if they went away forever, server problems or no server problems.

I am not a server guy, but it seems that "It Could not get JDBC Connection; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: The url cannot be null" is your root of the problem.

In fact, in server.xml, I ve defined my resource in the <GlobalNamingResources> element but this resource must be defined in the <Context> element of the web app instead.

I just bought a copy of Fedora 7 to install on a old Windoze machine. I am setting it up in a about a week or too, if I don't get distracted.

Wasn't there a computer Q&A section in this forum? I bet they would know.

Ive gotten to the point of only checking my tribe, if I get a pm, or one of my moderated has a reply...
I dropped out of Burning virgins in 06' as I wasnt one anymore....
I dropped out of Burning Goddess' as I really dont feel that just because I have a vagina I need goddess stature.
I dropped out of Burningman tribe, well cause, I just couldnt keep up with it.

Controlled burn(although theres never really anything in there as we have our own website)

But pretty much didnt even see a reason to pay my $5. a month...as just about the time they started havin issues, was when they asked for $.
I figured if it improves, sure Ill pitch in...but its just gotten worse!

I hear ya pinemom, that's why I did not give any money as I posted saying the same in this thread awhile back. I just feel bad for tribe and everyone that already got those premium thingies. Technopatra has one of those huge hearts and I'm sure she got a super premium package.

I keep a token presence over on Tribe only because so many of the eplayans that I like reading posts from are over there. Frankly I think the flow of conversation sucks thanks to their thread layout, and I get frustrated with the crappy server problems. It's also just downright mean and nasty over there sometimes...

I should have still been keeping count.
all I know is that Tribe has been down 3 times this week and who knows how many times this month.
But I dont really care nor count anymore.
All I know is that a bunch of people got suckered when they got that stupid premium star thingie.

Eplaya still has the best most awesome record.

So I uuummmm haven't said anything on eplaya about Tribe in a few months.

Do you really feel ok with the premium service you get despite the fact that tribe has been down about 75 times this year?

There are only 52 weeks in a year and this isn't even the 6th month yet.
People have doubted my work even when I have showed them the accuracies of what I do and I still get a world of shit.
I'm just trying to figure out why it is people including myself even deals with the shitty service of tribe and especially the people that pay for the service.

Cause I do not get it.

I'm on just about all of them and HATE to admit, I like tribe the best.
Facebook drives me nuts with all the apps you have to install but i have to be on it to stay in contact with my Canadian friends/Burners and families.
Myspace just all and all out sucks.

I wish so badly that tribe could get their shit together.

When I have a CMS up, no one joins. That's why i dont keep it online.
