i've noticed that this is usually the death knell for a relationship.
poly relationships have a hard enough time succeeding when people aren't being convinced to do things they don't already want.
i have a fair amount of freedom in my relationship, but is predicated entirely on my partner having a fairly low level of jealousy. as soon as i even think she might be uncomfortable with something i'm considering, it's off of the list.
keys to making it work, from what i can tell, are absolute honesty, and dedication towards keeping your partner at the top of your priority list.
