Bungee Jumping Cord?...

I want to shoot a stunt that requires the actor to jump over another actor. It would require rope similar to that used by the Thunderdome Guys, or Bungee Jumping or does anyone have anyother ideas that might work?

I'm not totally sure Rabbi but I think in some of the earlier bungee rigs that multiple cords were wrapped and twised about a base core of even more bungee. Something akin to cable spinning for big construction (or wiring) such as suspension bridges or high voltage power cable.
