Ethanol is the kind of alcohol that you drink. He is basically saying that he arrived drunk.

Fe is the chemical symbol for iron. "Ferrous" describes a type of iron compound. The diagram is a hypothetical molecule of iron atoms bonded together to form a circle or wheel, hence "Ferrous wheel"

I just hope he isn't too upset with us.

What ever happened to the whole yerba mate thing? I used to see people drinking it a few years back but I don't hear much about it any more.
