Marty its great offer, but apart from my battery drills, impact driver and sonic oscillator (i loved that tool) the cost of posting is probably more than the cost of replacement, many of my tools are irreplaceable as well either because i made them from other tools or they simply dont exist anymore. discontinued glazing pliers, with breakout bars. some of my tools i dont even know wher they come from because i got given them 20 or more years ago.
I will be honest, if i could replace my alot of my stuff i would get it America because its cheaper or better over there or both.
but a set of screwdrivers? £30 to buy and $50 to post
You know how it is, I know what tools i had but to list them? its a lifetime of the tools i kept because they where useful. my glasscutters for example i bought 6 a few years back because they were discontinuing making them now i have had 2, i had 2 others for certain cuts or my circle cutter cost £50 because it was the type i liked.
or my putty knives, i can replace them at £15 each but i had 5 or i can get the standard ones but i had broken mine in, and taped the handles.
ah fuck the toolbox i bought on my way to BM last year. that's gone. the panel beating hammer i got given by my dad and the T square that i got given when i got sacked from a previous job, which was left handed.
everyday i think of a tool that was MINE and will probably just get thrown away.
