2012 Groupings

While I understand that there has been no theme announcement to date, is there something written in stone that precludes the creation of 2012 sections on eplaya? Just curious and I will take my answer off-air. Thank you.

Honestly, when I was at BMHQ a couple weeks back, I was led to believe that the announcement was coming in days, not weeks. Whether they're just delaying for dramatic effect or they saw something they liked in one of the hilarious threads on the subject on ePlaya and are scrambling to rework everything... I'm almost done waiting. Expect them to be set up within the next couple days.

I think we should all start coming up with our own themes. It's not like the official one is the be all and end alll of themic reasoning for us. Simon's themes are often more compelling. (Although maybe Pony Girls v. Sparkleponies would be too much.) And any of use can spew out some pretentious prose.
So:
Revenge of the Bacon Gods,
or...
Do it Right the Second Time,
or...
Playa Horders.
